1970 Dodge Charger R/T

  1. Awesome find. I'm only guessing, but probably that car was sitting in someone's driveway/garage for a numerous amount of years (since the mid 80's?). Car was recently found and possibly in the process of getting restored or maybe just being left as is ---which actually is not such a bad thing since a majority of classic cars you see these days are totally restored.

    1. From the debris piled up around the wheels on the street, it's been sitting for a long time. I've found evidence that it's been here at least 3 years without moving. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the house it's in front of is in similar condition...

    2. Did you see the rust holes? That thing would be horrifically expensive to restore, there is a lot of cutting and welding needed…

  3. I worked in Seattle for three years and regularly drove by this Charger. It would alternate between the street and the driveway, but I don't think it was actually being driven. Registration was kept current, probably to avoid having it towed. I sent pics of this car to the carsinbarns website in 2011, where they featured it. http://www.carsinbarns.com/new99.html

    1. Thanks for the comment. I had seen pictures of this car on Curbside Classic, but hadn't seen your pictures (despite visiting carsinbarns frequently!) The underhood shots are especially interesting, and just add to the wow factor.

Speaking of this website I haven't seen any new posts lately ... I have no clue about working a blog website, does it take a lot of work ????
