By the mid-70s, Datsun's magic had ended and their weird period had begun. The original 510 and 240Z were gone, and what was left was an assortment of fatter, slower, and way, way weirder-looking cars. In addition, their labeling seemed strange--the 610 was apparently Datsun's luxury car. This bright orange wagon is a perfect example of the downfall of Datsun--strange, conflicting shapes make up the styling, and, well, it just doesn't seem like a very inspiring car. Of course, that weird styling is what makes this car so cool--it's just so seventies!
