1981 Honda Accord Hatchback

The Accord was introduced in 1976 as a bigger and slightly more luxurious alternative to the tiny Civic. Nowadays, of course, even the Civic is much bigger than this, let alone the Accord. Available initially only as a hatch, a sedan was added to the lineup in 1977. Like the Civic, the 1st gen Accord featured Honda's CVCC engine, which had reduced emissions without the help of a catalytic converter. A lot of Accords were painted this shade of blue, but it looks great, as do the quad round headlights on this car.
