1976 Chevrolet Vega Sedan

The Vega was supposed to bring driving excitement to the economy class while simultaneously giving GM a true competitor to the imports, but, although it had great handling, the Vega wasn't particularly fast. It also had a tendency to rust, was only available with two doors, and suffered from GM's cost-cutting tactics (but it was more expensive than competitors). Still, at least it was fairly handsome...

  1. My father had a 75'. I "vaguely" remember being in that car since I only was 4 at that time. It was color green with the standard transmission. My father thought it was a handsome car. Unfortunately a few months after he purchased it The Vega was rear-ended ( LUCKY IT WAS PARKED) by some gypsy cab.
