1981 DeLorean DMC-12
One of the most distinctive cars of all time, the stainless-steel DeLorean was made amous by its appearance as the time machine in Back to the Future. Designed by John Z DeLorean, of GTO and Firebird fame, the DMC-12 was made for just two years before the company went bankrupt. The car was originally supposed to be powered by a Rotary engine, but it was replaced with a Renault V6, that, unfortunately, wasn't very fast. Still, the stainless steel bodywork, gullwing doors, and distinctive styling meant that it looked good despite the performance.
