1975 VW Scirocco

The Mk1 Scirocco, penned by Giugiaro, is now recognized, like the Mk1 Golf, as a true design classic. Introduced for 1975, the Scirocco shared its platform with the Golf, though it was reworked for sportier handling and driving characteristics, not to mention the much sportier coupe bodystyle. This early Mk1 features a beautiful dark purple paint job, and color matched GTI rims.

  1. Hey! That's my car!

  2. By the way, it's actually a 1975. And although the rear badge says it's an "S" model, it's actually not. It has "S" seats, an '83 GTI engine, and a 5-speed overdrive tranny from an early '80s Caddy.
