1971 Jeep J4000

In 1962, Jeep entered the civilian pickup truck business with the Gladiator, putting the tough and well known Jeep name on a slightly more luxurious and accommodating pickup. More luxurious than earlier pickups based on the Willys station wagon, and the classic Jeep, but still extremely basic compared to pickups today. The Gladiator adopted the front from the Wagoneer in 1970 and continued to have the same basic design until the pickup was retired in 1988. This J4000 has the best wheels you could put on on an off-road machine: large diameter steel rims.
