1979 Toyota FJ55 Land Cruiser

The FJ55 replaced the FJ45 as Toyota's big, four door Land Cruiser. The Land Cruiser, of course, was the classic Japanese Jeep--tough, basic, and outdated (the newer ones share only the name). Compare this to a '79 Suburban, and it's easy to see why these are a lot rarer. Not only does it look outdated, it just looks weird, though, like 70s Datsuns, it's a charming, Japanese type of weird.

  1. That's an absolute classic! Toyota at it's toughest.
