1977 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ

This is only my opinion.…… Even though I don't like what General Motors did to their midsize cars starting in 1973 taking away the pillarliss hartop (Buick Riviera and Oldsmobile Toronado fell victim to this in 1974) I would give the tail end of the third generation Grand Prix a pass. I like what PONTIAC did with the square headlights on the 76' along with the waterfall grill and on the 77' with the parking light centered in between the square headlights. The restyled 77 grill fits in with the headlight scheme as well.
    I remember I use to see a lot of these Grand Prix's on the road. I remember someone in my neighborhood had a 77 with T tops. The car was 10 years old at the time.

    1. I always felt that the '76 was the best of this generation. In fact...one of the best domestics of the 70's. This '77 is almost as nice. I never much liked the round-eye version in the first few years of this generation.

  3. I like the look of it and it's in my second favorite car color. I'd own this one, were it for sale.
